I am a Geography and Environmental Studies Student pursuing my masters at Northeastern Illinois University. Additionally, I am earning my GIS certificate at NEIU. I completed my undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, receiving a major in Urban Studies and a minor in Conservation and Environmental Science.
I am passionate about the environment, specifically creating green spaces in an urban environment to create sustainable stormwater management practices. I have experience working with environmental non-profit organizations such as GroundWork and the Habitat Restoration River Revitalization. I also frquently volunteer with the Forest Preserves of Cook County as a steward.
I am currently interning at The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP). As a Research and Analysis Intern, I inventory and manage data ranging from greenhouse gas emissions to land use parcels. This position allows me to diversify my exposure to all areas related to planning and management.
